She made history with the Lionesses during the Women's World Cup. But the path to success hasn't always been easy for midfielder Georgia Stanway. To ensure she could achieve her dream of playing for England -Georgia's mum, Joanne sold their family home twice to cover the cost of training. But as the years of hard work and sacrifices finally pay off, Georgia and Joanne are joining us to share their story.

I was one of the many fans waiting to see them at the airport. The whole point was to welcome them home the right way and let them know how proud we are. I was surely a bit disappointed not to see them yes, I waited eagerly for 11 hours without sleep, holding flags with my face covered in paint, with other fans just like me. But also it's understandable after a 24-hour-long flight and considering everything they've been through. It was obviously a last minute decision by the airport and FA staff to take them through a different route in order not to block the arrivals hall. If it wasn't we would've been informed by security a lot sooner, pretty much when they first saw us. It's not something the Lionesses had any control over, and it doesn't make me lose my love or support for them one bit!! :)

Not at all. Very bubbly and a good player, but not captain material. Loses her head and is not impactful enough off the ball. Leah & Keira will be sharing that job for years and years.

Very well done England ladies for getting to the final. You have made the whole of the UK very proud. However to not meet your supporters which were also children who waited to see you as their idols & role models somewhat disappointing that an alternative exit route was advised/taken. Appreciated a very long flight home and the disappointing outcome let's hope you will be able to shortly fulfill those wishes of goodwill who waited hours for your teams safe return

Andi Peters has really been working out since back in the day! Literally bursting with muscle so he must be 7 days a week in the gym to maintain his guns. Doesn't seem necessary as he's a TV presenter rather than an MMA fighter. But he looks great, not aged a day and great to have him on TM, much better than a lot of other presenters.

Spain are the best team, the most technical, have the best players, played the best football, outplayed, outclassed england in every aspect with tiki taka football while england were chasing shadows. sarina wigman had to change tactics several times but they were not good enough. 1 international tittle in 60 yrs and counting is nothing to be proud of, england are the biggest underachievers in the history of the game.

You could say that about the men in the World Cup and the euros. The men only made it to the semi finals whereas the women made it to the final. The euros doesn’t need to be discussed bc the women won it and the men didn’t. So trying to compare them or trying to be bias doesn’t make any difference.

Iam talking about the history of accomplishments over the many yrs, one tittle doesnt cut it or mean much. Yes it is a good start but that is about it and nothing more. i repeat england as a football nation have only won 1 international tittle in 60yrs and counting, the last time they won a tittle was the 1966 mens WC, since then they have only won the womens euro last year. This is not greatness.
