That's basic mind programming you're doing to him as he is subconsciously recording this information. Later with making him forget his own name: You make hands gestures to make him associate it with erasing it on a blackboard and by snapping your fingers so when you do da same thing after asking him what's his name, his subconscious associates it to an information being erased so he therefore forgot it cuz he accepted your suggestion.
