In the Bible, when Jesus forgives sins, He tells the person, Go and sin no more. We are human and are surrounded by sin, and we may do something out of ignorance because of the way we were raised (or not raised). I ask for forgiveness of sins, especially of the sins that I might not even be aware that I committed. The Bible says if you just think it, you are guilty of it. Those are the type of things I am talking about. Road rage, a slight prejudice because of the opinions of others around us, or saying something that might hurt another person (like gossip). Once you have sinned, and have become aware of it, ask for forgiveness, but learn from that, and try not to sin anymore. Some religions teach that you can pretty much act however you want, as long as you get up early Sunday morning and ask for forgiveness. What if you die on Wednesday? If you haven't already, find radio stations that play Christian music, so that you can sing or hum continual praises to the Lord. I buy Chick Tracts, and leave them everywhere. They are small comic books that help convert sinners. I leave them in grocery stores, and at the gas pumps, lots of places. Sure I will witness to someone directly, but even when there is no one around, if you leave a Chick Tract, and someone finds it later, they may become a Christian, just because of the seed you planted.

I find that Chick Tracts make it really easy to witness to others. Especially if you are uncomfortable talking to that person, or if you know they will not discuss religion with you. Chick Tracts are little comic books that help spread the good news of Jesus. You can go online and look at and read each book before you buy them, so that you know exactly what they say. I leave them in grocery stores, and gas pumps, and all kinds of places.

Don't look to the Rapture, look to Jesus to keep you safe during these hard times, cuz we're heading into the Tribulation soon, I don't doubt. Read Matthew 24:29-31 and Revelation 7. They will bless you. Just know that the Lord will be there with you. Don't lose hope!

I don't feel blessed about the rapture. The doctrine is relatively recent in Christianity, since 1830. Only 1 Thessalonians mentions this. Jesus never does. One wonders why Christians prior to 1830 did not talk about it. And it is only American Christians that talk about it. I will stick to being a disciple and doing the will of the Lord.

Out of tragedy comes the greatest victory if we allow it. Here is a key to faith. You are experiencing something you don't like. Acknowledge it, turn your back on it, and focus intensely on what you do want. When you focus on what you want, you should feel good about it and know that God will give it to you. Hebrews 11:1 Think of your faith as a 12-inch radar screen. There are a lot of issues in your life that you see the solutions already on your radar screen. For example, bill coming due, paycheck coming in, no problem. What if there is no answer on your radar screen of faith? Marriage on the rocks, health issue, overwhelming debt. You MUST feel good about the solution. You cannot believe something if it is too big and you don't feel good (joy). If the issue is too big, break it down into smaller parts and focus on a part that you can believe and feel good about getting it. Faith is like a mustard seed; it grows! Stay focused on what you want. (Keep your mind stayed on God. Don't focus on HOW it will happen. Let God do His job.) DO NOT SPEAK CONTRARY TO WHAT YOU WANT. Speak only about what you do want. Practice being thankful as often as possible and praise God as much as you can. That will help you feel good and know that God is working out things that you could not imagine to bring you the solution. Realize the answer probably won't happen the way you expect, but it will happen.

This I found to be true. I had to look for Him. And I did. I looked for Him in spirit, and in truth, otherwise, my heart and mind would not have opened. That was how I connected with Him. Then they call every opposing view regardless of how valid....hate, mocking, scoffing, and neigh saying! News Break....those taken away in Biblical accounts that we all know about are ALWAYS THE EVIL AND DISOBEDIENT ONES...ALWAYS...LIKE IN THE GREAT FLOOD AND IN SODOM!!! Then we have in plain black and white the Parable of the Good Shepherd of ALL OF THE SHEEP....who went after one little lost sheep that did not even know that he was lost and stayed the course until He found him and took him HOME. This same Good Shepherd does not leave multitudes of little sheep behind, regardless!!! This belief is popular in the modern church that does not really know who God is....does not know of His plan for all of Creation...and does not know who Jesus really is...and thus, they are stumbling and floundering in error and confusion with no light, no power, no authority, and very, very little influence thus, they cannot even turn the block upside down much less the whole known world. Edward, I am old too in my body, but pray for the child-like faith that Jesus tells us He honors. Is your faith like a child's--innocent, pure and unwavering? I know what it is like to be lacking human companionship. At times it is lonely, but I remember that I have my Brother, my Savior and my Friend ever with me. He is a comfort at all hours, day or night. All that is necessary at this dark time in human history is to love Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to pray without ceasing for the souls of the lost. People do good works for different reasons. But one that is really a no-no is the belief that you can “earn” your way to Heaven. Sort of like buying your way. There is only One Way, and that is through Jesus. Not around Him, not under Him, not over Him, but “Through” Jesus. That means understanding everything He told us. Understanding that you don’t buy or earn your way. Understanding what He meant when He said He is The Son of God, who was SENT to bring The Word to the lost ones. Hearing The Word and grasping it is paramount. It also means making it your own. If this happens, we become different people. A new creation. The change is apparent to those who know us. When I searched for salvation, everything started going wrong. People even taunted me saying mean things and calling me a hypocrite. It took time to grow spiritually and a few times I fell backwards. But none-the-less I kept on reading scripture, and researching, questioning everything, and talking with God, until I became strong enough that I could see through my tears and hurt. I’m still learning. There is wonderment in growth, and most of my haters have disappeared into the background. Most. I still have a couple, and one adversary who we all know. He’s always lurking. But I now recognize this and don’t get excited or angry when he appears. I know he can’t stand it that I stuck and stick with Jesus no matter what. Believe me when I say that trying to get through this life with Jesus is hard trying to get through this life without Jesus is beyond hard. For some, impossible. I’m just so glad and thankful that I have Him in my corner. Peace❤
