That poor buffalo, by the time the lions got there, she did him a favor by putting him out of his misery. What a horrible way to die, stuck in mud for days on end. The weigh of it pushing down on his organs, I am surprised he lasted 3 days.

After rain what happened to the buffalo?

Makes you almost think the lion realized it had been trapped for so long and killed it quickly as a way to end it's suffering. I know wild animals do not think that way but sometimes i swear it feels that way.

The camera crew must have ice in the vains to be able to leave the buffalo like like and carry on filming it, i mean don't tell me it's just one guy a tent and a camera 😅 when you know there's probably jeeps and enough people to help it out.

Reading a lot of comments like as to what could have a crew/ cameraman done in the first place to help the Buffalo out of the quicksand, ( sitting on top of their caravans, a well equipped caravan that possibly had a rope, maybe, enough horsepower to pull it out along the horns) anyway, some say that let nature takes it own course, not to intervene, well that be the case, why is this cameraman even in their ecosystem in the first place? and how to even ensure that this cameraman wasn't the reason for the lions to be curiously driven towards the Buffalo after a video captured even late nights? I wonder if the Buffalo was weak because of the heatwave or the creature was ill or both. As for the Lioness actions, I think instead of TEARING the Buffalo apart and let it suffer more, she sensed it was suffering and didn't wanted to add more pain to it, therefore she done a Mercy Kill. Feline or any caliber have a sense to make Mercy Kill becaisme eating it. That's crap. I have seen crews with conservation officers intervene twice on animal shows. Everybody has a phone up their ass nowadays so call the conservation people there and ask them. What if it was the other way around you got stuck in that mud and 5 buffalo came up and said. " Yea Mr. Smith we could rescue you but our mom said we better not.
