Permanent makeup for your lips could be a game changer... for me, it totally was. There is a lot to know - and above all, be cautious! This permanent makeup industry is currently unregulated. This means, there are people looking to make a quick buck, and other who mean very well but lack knowledge and experience. It's important to know your artist is disciplined, educated and motivated to give your excellent results. Thank you so much to Madison at Lip Blush TO www.lipblushto.com for giving us a talented and knowledgeable artist-perspective.
Check out Madisons incredible before and after results, and her diverse clientele with all lip shapes and skin tones. Find resources with more information about Lip neutralization and lip blushing as well as tips, pre, and post care instructions:

I have done done permanent make up on my lips, eyebrows and eyeliner and I love it. I almost don't wear any make up. Sometimes I just color my eyelashes and don't wear any or I do concealer and mascara. It's so freeing to wakeup and feel beautiful.

I did this recently and am so happy with my results. I wear just gloss now to keep my lips moisturized and my lips look great. That being said, it was pretty painful even with numbing cream. Apparently I have a lot of capillaries close to the surface of my skin which makes it more painful and more likely that I bruise. I also looked like a Bratz Doll for a few hours because of the swelling 😂 I would definitely do it again. Thanks for the video. I learned a few things that I wasn’t aware of. You look beautiful!

Lip color disappears over time. Babies have excellent lip color. In our 20's it begins fading. By middle age, it is near gone. That's why lipstick is so important for most ladies.

That's interesting. I have met people of many ethnicities and all of them said their lip color faded. But I didn't say it happens to every person on earth. I just stated a fact about lip color fading. A simple Google search will give the info. 😉 That is awesome for anyone who doesn't have those effects and age nicely.

I have some vitiligo spots on my lips since I was 2 and was teased by a guy in high school for wearing lipstick (who incidentally had a crush on me but that’s a different story). I looked into cosmetic tattooing for lips back in 2015 (I had tried it on my ankles) but for lips it was still the lipstick effect and the lady wouldn’t do it on me. I’m so glad to see how advanced medical tattooing has now gotten in such a relatively short amount of time! I’m going to book a lip blush tattoo soon.

I've been thinking about doing this... I got permanent waterline/lashline enhancement (so- it's like permanent eyeliner, but a very thin line w/o a wing) about a year ago & it still looks great! I'm a natural blonde & my eyelashes are white, so my eyes really needed some definition & I was tired of feeling like I had to apply eyeliner & mascara every day. The permanent lashline enhancement was a real game-changer for me, but when it comes to the lip blush, I'm nervous because it's more surface area & a longer healing time. So this was very informative & is really inspiring me to just go for it!

@ericachacon8337

@ellenthomas9605 Not really... it started off a bit painful on the 1st eye, but I think the numbing cream didn't have enough time to really soak into my skin, before the permanent makeup artist began. I told her it was painful & she immediately stopped & apologized profusely. We then chatted & waited another 5mins or so, before giving it another try, & it was fine. But tbh, even if they didn't numb me at all, I'd say it was still worth getting it done!

Permanent makeup is not a trend it has been around for a long time. Even the concept/practice of painting your lips in a colour has been around for millennia. This is a great alternative for people who like the look of lipstick but not the feel of it or just don't want the hassle of smudges and reapplying. Possible risks have been mentioned in here. She's not making this into a trend like a BBL
@kiwiwooq

@@Orangecatenergy and so is plastic surgery. It HAS ways been there. Now look at insta baddies and celebs. The more influencers promote it, romanticize and glamourize it, young naive people will get them done. That's how BBL trend started and so is every procedure. Think about lip fillers. Hardly anyone got the done. After 2016, it seems like everyone have lip fillers. Madison is right about watching the content an artist regularly posts on their socials. I did this in looking for an artist and I feel doing so allowed me to see how prolific she is at permanent makeup and that her quality of work is top notch. Therefore, I felt confident that I chose someone who consistently turns out impeccable artistry. This wasn't a slow process though and the research and deciding took about 8-9 months. Well worth it however. Thank you for explaining in detail all of those things!

@lipblusht.o.232
@lipblusht.o.232 Жыл бұрын
In my experience, I usually will consult with clients online either through email or video call and then we go ahead to book their appointment. However I also do provide free consultations in person and the actual service would be provided on a separate date as there is pre care that must be followed in order to get a good result. When it comes to pricing, if someone charges less that could mean that either they are new or they have less expenses (for example, work from home compared to having a commercial space). I would for sure ask for healed results and years of experience! Hope this helps.

The lip fillers shouldn’t effect the lip blush tattoo as long as you wait 4 weeks in between, however lip fillers does stretch out the colour in your lips in turn meaning the colour may look lighter so depending on how bold you want your colour to look you may want a quick touch up after the fillers. In my experience clients still love their lip blush tattoo even if they get lip filler afterwards!

@excuseme2770
@excuseme2770 Жыл бұрын
Instead of micro needling your lips, look into using chemical exfoliant techniques. It is way more gentle while promoting the same results as micro needling. And it may be better since the skin of your lips is very thin and sensitive. I've heard of people doing this in combination with lip slugging once a week. Also spf will prevent color fading. Tattoos go a little deeper than topical exfoliants so I don't think this would necessarily be an issue. Just my two cents, stuff I've learned over the years but obv do your own research! ☺️

@@excuseme2770 I literally genetically have no lip pigment so nothing is fading lol. But i apply sp, slug and apply retinol once a week (introduced it to my lips 3 years after my face). But microneedling really added a lot of volume to my lips that i’m super proud of.

It depends on where you’re located and the artist you go to. For example, in Toronto the price ranges from $350- $700 on average.

Please don’t say there are a lot of “girls” who need information. There are also a lot of women who need information. Thank you very much.

I thought this channel was more about natural beauty and hygiene/beauty basics. What's next, cosmetic surgery?

it’s a pretty minor procedure compared to a nose job or jaw reconstruction. it’s only a color, a tattoo. not lip injections. don’t see anything wrong with this 🤷

It is just a tattoo but then on your lips, and I think a lip tattoo enhances your naturel beauty more than lipsticks

I wonder if you criticize lipstick just as much because looks-wise it's the same thing! You're overreacting and saying permanent makeup is the same as cosmetic surgery is wild.

These permanent makeup tattoos fade over time. And you don't know her enough to say what she will or won't regret in the future

Did you even watch the video? Lipstick literally makes her uncomfortable and causes sensory issues. She wanted the same effect OF cosmetics without using them. Please use the brain God gave you
