My very good friend is a father to a young teenager who is also non-verbal Autistic. He is just reaching that age where his hormones and emotions are starting to result in some fairly violent outbursts from time to time, of great concern when his mother is looking after him alone while Dad's at work. Mum and Dad are both disco/funk and deep house fans from way back... there's something about those cool deep beats that's just so effective at calming Rex down. We all have our particular tastes I guess. :)
