Loved it since '84 or '85 when it came to my town's midnight showing. Would be fun to be in this audience to hear them talk. Thank you!

Any update on the sequel ?

Margaret was taken away by aliens, Adrian’s overconfident, nasty, cruel self died from a lesbian orgasm, Jimmy died from an orgasm induced by Margaret, Sylvia found the goofy German scientist killed, etc. No need for a sequel.

@@GodEmperorSuperStar Sylvia lived in an apartment probably worth $5000 a month in today’s rent unless she was smart enough to buy it. Not sure who Katharine was; need to go back and find out.

Film has not aged well. Very dated.

Yes indeed! The main characters are all approaching 60 now that abandoned the superficial new wave club life and came to their senses or died from a drug overdose. Their children and/or grandchildren are probably smartphone-addicted, politically-correct zombies.

There's always going to be a space for retro 80s as the US is just looking back at its former self ("make america great AGAIN" and "build BACK better", etc.)
