I was like, "he's not picking those high notes" then saw the subtle picking using the middle finger. I'm gonna try that because the picking is a bit uneconomical. Great cover and gave me tips on how to get through some sticking points.

I am talking about the perfect execution, with that perfect feel to it, his vibratos, those precise bends, it is just unreal. If I close my eyes, I cannot find the difference between Alain and John! Perhaps, I am just hearing stupid, but I listen to DT since 1989, I have the "Majestic symbol" tattooed on my chest, and I am pretty sure that I love Alain's playing, as much as John's one. I love DT as a unit, John Petrucci is not my absolute favorite Guitarist, BUCKETHEAD is...
