Lisa Bluder is the epitome of how classy coaches represent the game, their team, and the school.

The “learning from last year” bit about focusing on rest and recovery is interesting. Just shows no matter how much you know there’s always some new experience that makes you change and learn. Another great interview

Great interview! A part of me wanted to see Caitlin vs. JuJu, however Paige is great as well! I think Iowa will face South Carolina in the final.

Iowa wore down LSU like they did Colorado. and it's demoralizing playing against an unguardable player, just pick your poison and admire her greatness

Completely agree. I told several newcomers to wait and watch iowa take off in the 3rd

Paige Bueckers vs Caitlin Clark...as good as Clark is I love Bueckers game and shot much better...Clark is just more consistent though...Paige has been more up and down during the season but has picked it up considerably in the tournament.
@amonrodriguez3518Ай бұрын
That was such a good game, they guarded both Clark and page so well, but the other Iowa players just picked it up, just a little more than Paige’s supporting cast did

@@amonrodriguez3518 that call at the end was horrendous....one of the worst calls to finish a game as you'll ever see...it just ruined the whole game for me.

@@javierdelgado1554 nah. Her feet were set but she clearly throws her arms/elbows. Thems the rules. Love the, let em play mentality, but that’s the game today. It’s soft. But they made the right call

Hailey Van Lith was terrible on defense lol...Clark was going by her with ease.
@gtizzle76062 ай бұрын
thank you. It was awful and Mulkey made zero adjustments. Clark just shot over her with no obstructions at all. Way too easy. You also gotta make Clark or any hot offensive player play defense. Go at her so it isn't so easy for her. She is no joke.
@javierdelgado15542 ай бұрын
@@gtizzle7606 it made no sense putting a smaller and slower Van Lith on Clark...I thought they'd put the taller Flaujae on her but what do I know, I'm not the hall of fame coach.
@javierdelgado15542 ай бұрын
@@gtizzle7606 no only that but Van Lith also made two bad turnovers, just throwing the ball away...to be fair, Clark also made a bad turnover where she threw the ball away as well.

They were ahead of schedule in their success. They beat Stanford twice, they're moving to the B1G next season and they have great recruiting classes coming in the future so this isn't the end for the Trojans.
@javierdelgado15542 ай бұрын
@@anthonylacy8374 agree, but I thought this team was definitely good enough to beat UCONN...especially because they were the Pac 12 Champions and a very well deserving 1 seed....UCONN was banged up and not very deep and also playing a bunch of freshman. USC also the toughest conference in my opinion.

High scoring game...for the most part the referees didn't ruin it...there's so many bad ticky tack calls in the women's game.
