Lisa Bluder retires as Iowa Hawkeye women's basketball head coach

After taking Iowa to back-to-back national title games, head women's basketball coach Lisa Bluder announced her retirement Monday.
Jan Jensen has been picked to succeed her.

Coach Bluder said she's gonna retire soon and pass the torch to coach J. She had a beautiful run and decided to retire on a high note. She did a fantastic job with all these girls. They are good players but they are also good kind funny human beings. She made sure that none of her players lost their personality and let them become a better version of themselves.

Hannah Stuelke should've entered the transfer portal and transferred to LSU. Bluder made sure she waited until the portal was closed to retire. Stuelke doesn't get the respect she deserves there. She would fit in great at LSU.

You obviously know nothing about the portal, players have thirty days to enter the portal if a coach leaves or retires. That means EVERY current Iowa player n recruit can enter for the next thirty days. Know what ya speak of before ya do cause I just had to educate you on your uneducated mouth.
