hello all. just living out my avril lavigne dreams. thanks so much for listening. ahaha.
the story behind this version is that this is how I originally imagined the song! I wrote it hearing these instruments in my head but I didn't really know how to recreate it so I just produced my own acoustic demo. I ended up loving how it sounded and just released it like that, but when I saw everyone's amazing response to the acoustic version, it really touched me and I wanted to do something special for the one year anniversary of the song.
I hope you guys love this version as much as I do! I was shamelessly inspired by avril lavigne's power ballads on her Girlfriend album and pretty much just wanted to recreate that feeling so if you hear that vibe, that is exactly what I was going for 😂
