hmmm i have a different interpretation of the book old witch is definitely Andersdotter, it says in the final volume that her stories(worlds) are the undying fire, that she had short lifespan compared to long lived witches e.t.c, basically if u reread it you'll realize that old witch is Andersdotter, it fits her to a T. we also have fortune slips and some of them show letters from other Hexenzirkel members about Andersdotter, saying farewell to her and stuff(after she has already passed away) this whole thing is basically a tribute to her. also you need to read descriptions of those volumes, they give info that makes u realize that each volume is written by a different member. vol 1 - multiple authors or maybe someone specific but we don't know vol 2 - Barbeloth(cuz of the stars and cosmology infodump) vol 3 - Rhinedottir(she is referenced to have written a volume and plus this one is more about weird alchemical shenanigans) vol 4 - Ivanova(implied cuz she has seemingly no knowledge of magic and is also from snezhnaya seemingly cuz of her name and she says "Tsaritsa be good" as if that's her god) vol 5 - Nicole(we learn from one of the fortune slips that she can't write normally and this one has a description that says it has been written badly) vol 6 - Octavia(seems to have traveled worlds and just came back to say something akin to "let me continue from now then") vol 7 - multiple authors i don't think that little witch is Alice because Alice is way older than Andersdotter who has normal human lifespan and Andersdotter is referred to be as "old witch" so Alice being "little witch" makes no sense in this context my theory about little witch is that it's Lisa, because undying fire is an analogy for Andersdotter's stories("worlds") and Lisa has connection to her. also has a library and wants to spread her stories.

Honestly makes her story quest and how stressed she was about that book the abyss mage took in her quest make more sense now if the was the previous M's book

Id argue that lisa wasnt necessarily smart enough to know not to mess with forbidden knowledge, but rather than she TRIED and upon doing so, suffered consequences. Its not 100% cannon anymore, but originally she had her lifespan halved by coning into contact with a magical artifact. She didnt know not to mess with the unknown, she rather learned the hard way after the fact and decided to stop her pursuit of knowledge as a result. I do still like this theory, just wanted to mention that

all these fascinating theories around Lisa and Kaeya, but nobody pays attention to the other starter character Amber who is clearly the Heavenly Principles sleeping form. lol just kidding.

I'd like to believe Lisa is such a big figure (at leas I hope HoYo won't forget about "Pale Princess" quest and those... strange thing said about her by an Abyss Mage) but... the book is written in a way it looks like... well, it looks like chapters were written by different people in different periods of time icluding one chapter being written in some faithful or disasterous moment (Vol. 6, its blurb is "Is it still necessary to write this, the present moment being what it is?"), but those moments are most likely a thing of a distant past right? So I don't think this book is about Lisa, she's... she seems to be a short-live specimen. And her and Cyno's teacher in Cyno's quest says about her "that girl", which kinda assumes she was much younger not long ago. So I don't think she was already born when this book was written and so she can't be Andersdotter's successor right? Though I guess she, as a witch, has some sort of connection with Hexenzirkel, but to what extent... And tbh, it's all such a dumb move. We literally SUDDENLY have an access to Lisa library's restricted section that appears to be something closely related to Hexenzirkel and... we can't go to her and ask what the hell is that? Her dialogues inside Theater are nothing special too and we still can't ask further? Really? And Traveler is JUUUST FINE with that huh. NOTHING suspicious at all. So yeah, I'd like to think Lisa has some huge secrets but the way HoYo's hiding it is really stupid at this point. I want to believe in 5* Lisa someday though.

I just remembered something when you mentioned the relationship with Honkai. In the current HI3rd 2.0 story it takes place in a parallel universe of old civilization of Mars, located in a World Bubble in the Sea of Quanta. It says that all the worlds and universes in the Sea of Quanta are destined to disappear if they don't have a strong direct connection with the Imaginary Tree and the reason why Mars doesn't disappear is because of a kind of "anchor" that exists throughout the ages and prevents its disappearance. the larger the bubble universe, the slower the bubble's death. It could be that the Undying Fire is the Anchor that keeps Teyvat's universe alive and the little witch's test is to find it so that it doesn't disappear. The fact that she was found the fire next to the oldest and most powerful witch, could mean that now it is the little one's turn.

Another reason the hexenzirkel so powerful could be that they’re all pathstriders Alice would be destruction and Barbeloth would be finality also I have no idea what paths the others would follow

Rosalyne is not a true witch nor is she part of the Hexenzirkel. She said so herself. And she hate this. As for Lisa u may be into something but then again she also said herself that she is not part of the Hexenzirkel. She said they wanted her but she refused. There is no point for her to lie. And to finish about your video, there is 9 witches. The end of Imaginarium theater confirms it. Alice, Rhinedottir, Nicole, Barbeloth, Ivanovna, Andersdotter... And the 3 last are Octavia, the "nighttime witch" from Navia geo artefact set and for the last slot maybe like you said its Alice Master. Wolfy confirmed that Octavia code name "O" is an eternal wanderer that travels the universe because her home world was destroyed. Yes Alice is the constellation of Scorpio, she is the Undying fire !! And wolfy also confirmed that Nicole is a Seelie and the Boar Princess book is about the fall from grâce of the seelie race and Nicole ;)
