I wish you could dance with him again too, just like I wish I could sit and hold hold my Daddy’s hand or have a conversation with him. I saw Elvis in concert once and even though I was as sick as a dog, I wouldn’t leave until he did. It was electric! He had such a presence that he made you feel like he was singing to you and I was really far away, in the Astrodome! Lisa Marie keep honoring your father by singing, you have a wonderful voice. And I hope Elvis is resting in peace, the peace he couldn’t seem to find here.

What a man, a truly gifted legend. A beautiful family with memories of love and happy moments to treasure forever. I will defend his reputation and legacy every time I come across the degrading ignorance that some display when commenting negative stuff about him. No one can touch Elvis when it comes to being authentic, sincere and humble. His ego never reached his ever escalating fame and his family always had his care, even 45 years after his passing he still provides for them with the sheer use of his name and legacy. Much love to all Elvis fans out there!

@@jimfisher5916 You are right, it does. However I see that a lot, and it's not Lisa's voice. Especially since she died. Look up "In the Ghetto" duet with Lisa and you'll hear her voice. Another one I like is "Daddy, Please don't Cry". Look up Lisa's songs and you'll know this is not Lisa's voice. She has a deeper and lower voice.

I'm shocked that through the years the same comments continue to be posted about this song. People...this is not a new song, this is not a Kellie Coffey song, this is not a Lisa Marie song, and it's not Lisa Marie singing in the video. How do so many people not know this song and who sang it? It was a huge hit and one of the most requested songs at the time. The song was released in 2003 by Luther Vandross. It was the title track to his 13th studio album and released as a single. It hit #1 on Billboard's Adult R&B Chart. He wrote it with Richard Marx based on his personal experience. "Dance with my Father" is a tribute to his father, Luther Vandross Sr., who died due to complications of diabetes when he was 8. At the 2004 Grammys he/it won; Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, Song of the Year, and Best R&B Song.

This Song made me cry ...... I lost my dad when I was 24 and he was only 60. I'd give anything for a dance with him today. Sometimes it hurts so bad and sometimes it's ok and life is good. And 8 months before my dad died, my best friend with who I grew up like sisters, died in a freak car accident. Her 2 Babies survived. That was a devastating year for me. I guess all the people who disliked this video can't relate...... And now she even lost her son. Sometimes music is the only person who understands us.

Beautiful voice! I lost my father 11/22/18. Right before Thanksgiving to prostate cancer. I'm 38 and wish I could talk,dance and laugh with him. Wasn't there much growing up but he was still my father. RIP dad

💖I danced with my daddy last night in the living room to Elvis In the garden for this reason he's 87 prayers plz momma got her wings in 2020 so I'm dancing with daddy till as much I I can Thank you for sharing!! I love this song it is so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. And watching this video made me cry even more Seeing Elvis and Lisa together is so precious you could tell he was a happy father and he loved Lisa dearly as much as she loved him.i wish that he could still have been here to see her grow up.

It's a beautiful song and video. I couldn't stop crying watching it. I just became Elvis fan after a visit to Graceland last month and I wish he's been alive, so great singer. I love all his gospel music.

My dad and grandma passed away in March 2019 at 40 and 60 I miss them so much my family is pretty much gone I lost so much already🥺 my grandma loved Elvis so much her whole room was Elvis and she has this antique doll of Elvis as well😭
