Former Memphis Mayor A C Wharton pays tribute to Lisa Marie Presley at the memorial service on Jan. 22, 2023.
Lisa Marie Presley was 54 when she died January 12, after being hospitalized for a medical emergency.
Lisa Marie Presley will be buried next to her son, Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020. Other members of the Presley family, including Elvis, are also buried at Graceland.

What a nice speech, she was our family too here in the South, she was all of our child, cousin, sister. We all loved her so much. I'm sure she's with her Dad and son and having the greatest time, and watching over her Children and mother. We will miss her till we see her again.💕RIP LISA MARIE, WE LOVE YOU.💕

Lisa Marie you beautiful angel, you carried such a heavy burden. You were the most famous child in the world, you were a beautiful woman, singer and caring mother. You left us way too soon. Now you are with your papa and your son Benjamin. You are missed here. My heartfelt condolences to the friends and family...especially the children and Priscilla. I totally agree. Inappropriate, way tooooo long, scary intonation .... For a while I thought it was her drugdealer. He appears to be very impressed with his own ?beautiful? memorial speech. Goldie Hawn, Beyonce, Harry and Meghan, and all other celebrities and cities and events that he mentioned will probably be impressed too ???!?!?

I have to admit, I was surprised at what he said especially about the Hollywood stars. I was shocked given he mentioned H & M of all people. I don't know of anyone in the U.S. that consider them royalty. I mean no disrespect to this gentleman. I don't know who he is or what his connection is to the family. I felt everyone else gave very heartfelt comments. Prayers to Riley, Finley, Harper and Priscilla. To learn that Lisa Marie was a grandmother was so heartwarming and beautiful. RIP Lisa Marie. You will always be remembered and loved.
