In a relationship, there has to be two individuals who have their own worlds, and maybe some of it intertwines, but you should never completely depend on that individual. It isn't good for them and it isn't good for you. In a relationship, I think you should teach each other to be independent and live on their own, but create a safe space where it is okay to make mistakes and always learn. Sorry if I sound like a know-it-all, I just wanted to share my thoughts. :)
