Somi was a former JYP trainee and was in the same show that formed TWICE.. It was rumored that she didn't make it in the line up because she was too young back then.. She then joined the first season of Produce 101 and won 1st place which gave her the opportunity to debut as the "center" in a temporary group called I.O.I.. She went back into training under JYP when I.O.I disbanded and left later on after having other projects and being part of 2 more temporary/experiment groups (Girls Next Door and Unnies) to sign under The Black Label (she's the first female artist signed under it).. A few months after becoming part of TBL, she released 2 songs which are "Birthday" and "Outta My Head".. Fun facts: Her father is Dutch-Canadian and is also a TV personality in South Korea.. Somi has a 4th degree black belt in taekwondo Ps. I just wish you watched the whole ep.. It's actually very funny and other Blackpink members were mentioned too.. 😊

Watch the 'I am Somi' (her reality show)-when she spends the day learns how they make her traditional makgeolli, (rice based alcohol drink very popular in Korea) that she bottles from what I understand . Somi calls her mom to tell her she is at the factory and her mom tells her not to drink too much of it or she will forget who her mom is..thus the reference to Lalisa about forgetting her parents in this video. Jeon So-mi is a famous singer, song writer in Korea. She is most know for finishing first in Mnet's survival program. You begin to see that game shows, reality shows are popular in Korea and guest alot of K-pop arrtist. Jennie in Running man is another good one to watch.

Somi is a Solo Singer from the Blacklabel ent. (Subsidiary of YG ent.-- Blackpink's agency). If I'm not missunderstood, Teddy is the founder of the Blacklabel ent. Please check Somi's music called "Birthday". It's dope too!
