Even the great Glenn Gould would have been proud of her tempo and her extraordinary expression … yes that’s quite a statement … to me this is the ultimate performance

👍I love her interpretation! It has been a long time I haven't seen an interpretation like this. Reminds me of Glenn Gould. About the music , it is like Goethe ( who knew this music in his old age) said:" Bach's music is God's soliloquy before the creation".

That's the way to play Bach ! Love the passion, especially the fugue. Everybody else on YT plays it in such a bland way, I don't know why.

Как всё прожито! Каждый мотив, ход, поворот! Смотрела не отрываясь, можно с чем-то не согласиться, но у неё всё так продумано и согласованно.. Станиславский бы сказал: Верю!:)

Дуже змістовно! Багато нового і повчального в цій інтерпретації! ДЯКУЄМО! Дивно лише, що рояль у Чікаго (!!!) так "нетемперовано" настроєний... Може, такий був задум (імітація інструментів давньої доби)?
