Has anyone read recently that Lisa Whelchel according to Mindy Cohen, is on the outs with the the rest of the group? She went behind the groups back and tried to get a separate deal/spinoff. Now they all don’t like her.

There was one episode when Natalie got raped or sexually assaulted. Will the role was supposed to happen to Blair and she refused to do it. So they gave the script to Mindy Cohn who played Natalie. There was other things she wouldn't do on the show but cant remember what they were. If you haven't read one of her books called " The Facts of Life: And Other Lessons My Father Taught Me" She talks about her childhood, Christianity and her acting career. Really good book.

@Diostillrocks she probably didn’t feel that conflicted because in the end Blair didn’t go through with it and realized it was better not to rush things. Also i doubt she’d have a choice given it was the first season. The episode she refused to do was when one of them did have sex, and it was already the last season. There’s another one that touched on Blair’s lack of faith and she was fine with it

@@Debrakay41i think there’s been a confusion, Natalie wasn’t raped. In season 3 there’s an episode where a man who’s been raping women in the area tries to grab her (off screen) but she escapes before anything happens. Years later in the last season there’s the storyline where Natalie has sex with her boyfriend for the first time. As far as i know that was the storyline that was supposed to be Blair’s but they gave to Nat (Mindy) since Lisa decided not to do it.
