Specify the quantitative parameter of the product. Foreigners have no idea that this is the price for one piece, for 10 eggs (in the USA there are packages of 12 eggs- dozen), for 100 grams, for 1 kilogram, for a gallon, for a pint, for a pound. Moreover, for the average American, the concept of 1 kilogram or 1 meter does not mean anything (just noise from the mouth) - they are absolutely not familiar with the metric system of weights and measures (there are still miles, gallons, pounds, inches, etc.).

This is very interesting. In the UK we have a supermarket called Sainsbury, which is similar sounding to Самбери/'Сам бери' or 'take it yourself'. The unintended consequences of language. Its like самшит (boxwood) but if you are in the park/garden in England saying 'I can see самшит', it has a totally different meaning 😀 even if there is a boxwood bush there.

Greetings from Britland! I live in a UK town where the prices for utilities and housing - and food - are significantly cheaper than in the capital but can still find more remote places where they are far higher. Prices fluctuate. The presence of major chains and distribution distance are impactful. What can you do? I do like the Asian flavour of restaurants, cafes and available food choices you have. Lucky you. Don't forget that Moscow is (in my opinion) a far more desirable capital in which to live than London and Vladivostok in many respects reminds me somewhat of Vancouver, only without the exorbitant cost. That's a win-win for you, I think... though the BC environment is pretty spectacular. Have you considered taking a ferry trip to Canada? Thanks for the video, have a good day and take care!

Many of these products are less expensive than here in France, some around the same price, and this is a country with a lot of produce and neighbouring other producer countries! IMO it's an agenda to make the population struggle financially. Not long ago we even had 'shortage' of mustard & vegetable oil (!), so prices were ridiculous (4 times the normal cost).

Russia has much stricter food requirements regarding the use of herbicides, pesticides and other chemicals, they are even much stricter than in the United States (several times), not to mention China. @@lisa_with_love you didn't tell him food isn't sanctioned? Do you want him to think it is for some reason? Don't go down the road of other KZfaqrs in russia and be a weak propagandist 🤷🏻‍♀️

Transportation in Moscow is the best and most modern. Moscow has a dense population of 20 million people and is the capital. It has the largest population, comparable to Tokyo.

I'm trying to figure out what that orange stick in the middle of your cart is. At first i thought a sausage but then you said you got no meat. So what's your thoughts on American sanctions and its allies still doing trade with Russia? I was surprised by all the Korean products.

@@The1cdccop our industrialization began in 1830-1840. It's so weird to think that such a huge country doesn't develop.
