This video caught my eye, as I am flying to Lisbon next week. Do you know if there is an advantage (or disadvanatge) of getting a physical SIM card, versus buying an e-sim? I have an iPhone Xr, which accepts esims, so I was going to buy one before leaving home. I will only be in Lisbon for 2 days, then will be in Spain for 4 weeks, so I need a 30 day sim plan. The main esims I am looking at are $25 (US) for 10 GB data, or $64 for unlimited data. Any thoughts on how to decide on sim vs esim, and how to decide on which plan?

This is a fantastic question I wish I knew the answer to! I too am curious about this since e-sim is likely to be used more in the future. I can try to see what I can find and we can learn together

So I'll be visiting here in a week. I reached out to my mobile service provider "T-Mobile" and they said my subscription is covered over there up to 4G speeds, including unlimited data and texting. Calls back to the US will be $0.25/min but I'm okay with that. Should I still consider buying a sim card over there? If so why? Thank you for the video.

That's awesome if it's covered! I'd just stick with that then! For me, it would have been $10 a day with verizon to keep my plan active internationally so definitely wanted to SIM card instead
