Is it good??? I have read probably 85% of Kings work, it's just a few odd novels here and there in his later stuff that I have not read, and this is one of them. I think his earlier stuff is some of the greatest fiction I have read, and even though his later stuff is good, it can never be as good as his 70's and 80's era. Novels like Rose Madder and Doctor Sleep (although good) could never compare to the like of The Shining or The Stand.

I just like that actors and actresses are leaving the big screen for streaming platforms. and netflix is also giving actors and actresses chances to direct or produce their movies for movies. it's sorta why we are seeing new movies every week in 2021. I think Netflix is experiencing because of disney+ and many other streaming platforms. imagine netflix getting put out of business like they did with blockbuster because of these streaming platforms lol

Def. suspect. His books def. captures the attention and imagination of the reader. I'm reading Under The Dome. Not really into it right now because I'm reading up on one particular topic. I was confused reading through the first three chapters. I was jumping all around through scenes. I read regulators at the age of 18, really good book. I realized after the third chapter one of his writing styles and remembered the technique he uses in how to entrance the readers imagination. He's an exceptional writer... His style of writing gives his work a signature for sure. Stephen Kings is suspect are someone likes to copycat his work and throw it into the world. Life is all about attention and harnessing that attention and creating with it. I would love to learn how to write. I would love to learn how to write a book. I sometimes practice my writing skills but for the most part I use too many filler words. As if and like. Lol, all the wrong words to use. Sometimes, you have to be careful concerning certain devices you use that you express your mind on. Your words can come back to haunt you in a cursed world where technology is there waiting for it's final kick back. Stephen King like myself might have grabbed the attention of a force who wants just as much mind space as we do. Anyway I fever being a hermit and not getting any attention from anyone is a personal need but yeah the big bad wolf loves the work of Stephen King or the big bad wolf is Stephen king, muuuuaaaahhhhh. I feel that in some cases exceptional work down here is put to waste. Awesome writer he is tho. Entrancing the readers mind is an amazing ability that Stephen King has concurred.

@@gotchalife6890 he has a book he made..to kind of get into his “writers mind”. The do’s, the don’ts. He even addresses his own quirks in his writing. He also besides teaching you “writing”, gives you a an autobiography on his life, all his failures,and triumphs. It really made me appreciate his grit. When he and Tabitha were poor, he wrote in his laundry room atop the washer n dryer I believe. While Tabitha worked at Dunkin’ Donuts. They barely could afford a house phone. He talks a lot about addiction, before and after his getting hit by the van. And getting clean/sober. It’s like-the writer and person- are 2 different people. Highly recommend you get it. Called “on writing” by Stephen King I will forever be a “constant reader”💗

Fun Fact: Stephen Kings came up with the swamp scenes from IT and that small water tower-as well as other scenes for “Derry”, in my hometown, Stratford,CT where he lived briefly when he was younger. 😊💗CR

@@gotchalife6890 you can always tell you are reading Stephen King in just the way he puts the picture in your head when you are reading his books. I am a fairly uneducated person and there are many books I have tried to read but get totally lost quite quickly, because the way the book is worded, especially when I read older material from the early 20th century. It may sound daft and I might just be thick, but even reading the works of Tolkien (even though I have read and understood them) hard going in just the way he forms sentences, but Stephen King and the way he writes is so easy to read. I never read a book at all before I left school, and the first book I read was The Deadzone by SK and since then I have never looked back, all I ever do in my spare time is read and I never thought that I would become a bookworm when I was at school, and it is all thanks to Stephen King.

I was such a king fan that I knew who the gunslinger was back in the 90's because I'd read everything else by him. It was so different but I loved it. According to Wikipedia this "über novel" is up to 4,300+ pages in print and it's not finished. He's just an incredibly prolific writer and a wonderful person.

I'm with you in all of that.. my favourite will always be the Tommyknockers but they're all all good to me, even the "flops" like Dreamcatcher were still good

Yes, she actually says so in the book. Like many names, most loved one tend to call you something cute ( my own was Rosey but only family is ALLOWED, since I hate it). Her name is Lisa therefore Lisey (Lee see).

I would have said it's an abbreviated version of Elisabeth, so pronounced Lis as in Elizabeth+ Cee, but others seem to have it on good authority that it's Lee Cee, a cute version of Lisa, my Lee Cee wee cee
