Thank you, clear and good explanation! One thing I would like to note for people developing products that will be tested with a LISN, is that if you are unlucky your EMI RC snubber circuit can actually start oscillating when connected to a LISN due to the added inductance of the LISN. Have seen it several times in DC luminaries!

Hi Dr. Shirsavar, thank you for your explanation. Is It possibile use a LISN to inject noise to the DUT, connecting a signal generator to the port?

Is there a BOM for building your own mains connected LISN? Building or buying a good 50uH inductance is the tricky part I suspect.

Hi, would you be able to comment on if the circuit elements to make a LISN are simple, why are professional LISNs used in EMC testing expensive?
