Lissajous figures

7 жыл бұрынThe aim of this experiment is to show how to trace the Lissajous figures on the Cathode Ray Oscilloscope using two function generators connected to X and Y plates of CRO. The different figures:
Ellipse, Two loops on X and Y Axis - 1 : 2 /2:1 ratio
Three loops - 3:1 / 1:3 ratio

function generator A -goes to - channel 1 function generator B -goes to - channel 2 XY mode on the oscilloscope. note: this will ONLY WORK IF YOU SWITCH TO XY MODE ON THE SCOPE.

Is phase difference 90 degrees throughout?

Depending on the phase angle you get different figures. It's not the same.90. Circle

@@624radicalham one needs this if they are working with digital circuits and analog modular signal generators. Its also used since ages to calibrate frequencies .
