Wang and baek's deaths aren't canon though, they're just what if endings. Like the entire t6 campaign story makes those 2 endings non existent cause they never interact with Azazael in it.

It was powerful seeing Heihachi shed a tear after killing Kazumi. The moment when he lost his humanity. Sure he’s shown to soft to a very select few. But his ability to truly love died with her

But those characters that "died" after battle Azazel are not dead at all. The one who fought against Azazel was Jin/Devil Jin, hence the reason why Zafina absorbed what remained of Azazel's power after she got the orb, as shown in Devil Jin's ending. Her presence in Tekken 7 and her new powers are proof of that.

If you think about it, Heihachi was portrayed as an antagonist, seeking to regain control of the Mishima Zaibatsu and eliminate his son Kazuya and his grandson, Jin Kazama. However as the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Heihachi’s actions were driven in part that his grief and guilt over their devil consumed wife and son.

Wang was in T7 Just non playable. During the Mishima saga mode. The reporter goes to see an "old man" who tells him about the devil. If you listen to the voice carefully and the way he sings the poem you will clock it is Wang Jinrei.

Actually Baek Doo San and Wang Jinrei never got killed by Azazel It is not canon so they will come back They never encountered Azazel in Scenario Campaign Only Jin Kazama encountered him

It really pisses me off seeing how people think Wang and Baek are dead. Any T6 Arcade endings with post-defeat of Azazel aren't canon. The only Azazel ending that is canon is Devil Jin's. How do we know this? Well after Devil Jin picked up the orb (Azazel's Heart) it reverted him back to Jin, and who was there after that? Zafina, she was the one who took Azazel's orb. That's why she has it in Tekken 7. That's just one example of an arcade ending being canon. Unless explicitly stated or said otherwise by Harada or Michael Murray...then Baek and Wang aren't dead or alive, but *missing* . Also to the people who said Jun died, she also went missing. It's not a retcon.

Kuma 1 died of old age, jack is an emotion aI but the models are usually destroyed after the new model is successful and Jane put jack 2 into the test model. Jack 2 killed prototype jack, the Tekken force killed gun jack, heihachi killed kazuya even though kazuya was only dead for a few days I still count it, I assume ogre was killed by jin, jinpachi was killed by heihachi, then killed by jin, Eddie wasn't able to raise money for his master's surgery in time and he died from illness, I assume Bryan killed Dr Abel in his Tekken 4 ending because he is never again, and jin killed Azazel.

Jun Kazama. Killed before Tekken 3 by Ogre. Wait, Tekken 8 what?! I guess Ogre was a very poor assassin in the end, just like Nina.

I personally think that even though Wang was playable in Tekken 6, he actually died in Tekken 5 because his story mode especially the scenes with Jinpachi made so much sense it almost felt canon.

Anyone think it’s amazing how Wang was 100 years old and still maintained his strength to fight? Some people live to 100 but can’t maintain that kind of strength. Old age sucks

Everyone's already pointed out the exclusion of Kuma, and that Baek and Wang aren't dead, but you also missed Kunimitsu I. She died sometime between 2 and 7, with the Kunimitsu in 7 being her daughter.

Baek and Wang are not dead. Kuma is at least the second Kuma, as the first one died. Yoshimitsu is at least the second but probably more like 4th or 5th, as that is a title of someone in their clan, and they kill them when they get too old to fight. It's part of the reason he looks so different in every game.

Looking at T7 makes you think, “If Kazumi never attacked Heihachi, would her vision still be true?” Only time Heihachi went down the path of world domination was when his own family, Kazumi, went crazy and tried to kill him, making Heihachi question his own son in the process. Idk what happened to the relationship of Heihachi and Jinpachi tho. I like to think Heihachi instantly had the same suspicions when Jinpachi was acting funny too but that was because Jinpachi was turning to an old fart. He started having amnesia or lost of memory due to old age or something like that, and Jinpachi attacks Heihachi, thinking he’s an intruder in his home. It’s far fetched, yeah, but it would be a funny reason why Jinpachi suffered his fate at the hands of his son, being an old guy who forgets sometimes lol

Wang and Baek aren't dead. Their Tekken 6 showcased a what if situation. Both never made it this far. Jin was the one and only to defeat Azazel. Many characters never met. Also Ganryu never turned into his Devil form. So Baek and Wang are alive.

I wouldn't be surprised that they comeback ( SOMEHOW ) even though we witnessed each of them die in the story.

Wang and Baek's death isn't canon. The Scenario Campaign with Lars and Alisa is the ONLY canon story, any Arcade story within that mode is non-canon. The only ones officially dead is King I, Armor King I, Kuma I (Kuma Jr is the one we know now since Tekken 3), Jinpachi (technically he's dead but somehow he got resurrected by a Devil power unrelated to the Devil Gene) and most recent Heihachi. FYI, Kazumi was never existed in Tekken 7, she was already dead years prior to Tekken 1 in the storyline and was introduced in Tekken 7 to fill in the origins of Devil Gene.

Harada said Wang may have died. There is a cha ce that he has died due to natural causes but he wasn't killed by Azazel as that was non canon. Beak is also a what if case. Though like Wang he may have died a natural death or just retired

I really don't understand why the community believe this, I really don't, but Baek and Wang never fought against Azazel, and obviously, never died against Azazel. Does endings are *not Canon* Azazel only died against Jin in the campaign mode in Tekken 6. Where this disinformation even coming from?

Question: There is another source that state that King is dead and the one we have now is the second one? Because Korean comics (or manhwa, dunno) are usually really uncanon and takes a lot of liberties.

I hope Tekken 8 will have character customization like Tekken 6 or even BETTER cause in Tekken 6 character customization was sick and it was better than Tekken 7's. I hope we get Heihachi In Tekken 8 as a DLC I also hope for DLC Eliza, Kunimitsu,Geese,Ganryu,Kazumi,Devil Kazumi maybe a Baek DLC

If Wang and Baek's endings are canon then that means they were the ones who defeated Azazel. We already know that isn't the case though, because Jin was the one who "defeated" Azazel in the end, so as far as the canon story goes Wang and Baek are still alive.
