Hi, I am a video editor and motion graphics designer by profession here in India. Looking at a similar course....I am also a beginner in 2danimation (Adobe Animate). Which course would be best to learn more about 2d animation and brush up motion graphics? Do graphic design courses include after effects software as well?

Just one more request, Please make videos on "What if UX Designer like me who has 2 yrs of working experience in this field wants to shift to Canada for Job purpose, just like you shifted and started your work journey and not for study purpose? For that, Do We need a job letter from Canadian company, how much score of TOEFL/IELTS is required, which visa should we apply for etc etc

Hey, I was trying for PR and I almost lost my hope, I have 4+ years of experience in graphic designing but my under graduate major was BCA(computer application). Should I take UG course in designing or can I try Masters in designing? And my age is between 24-26 Please reply as soon as possible, so I can get some real ideas and finalize

How come OCAD is not here? The best for graphic design professionals. For Animation and visual development style illustration Sheridian is best.

Hi @Trupti shirodkar , This is Surya here from Tamil Nadu. I am currently working in the customer facing role. I would like to transition my career to UX design. Are the programs in Canada applicable for someone from non CS background(I studied B.E EEE) and with no prior experience in the UI/UX field.(I have 1.5 years of experience in customer support) As of now, I can develop a basic level of portfolio It would be great if you can suggest me PG Diploma and specific program which could be kind of cheaper to complete in Canada.

Hello, I completed my graduvation in HYD, I applied for level and game design in Lasalle Montreal and i got the LOA and CAQ too.. But as My course is a AEC, In the LOA it Mentioned as a post secondary course soo most of the banks and 3rd party finance Guys are rejecting my application by saying this "your course is not a post secondary we cant give the loan to you as you are a graduvate student" . Is there any way to get my loan process done???

About the SFU I did a lot of research and talked with few students. The program you are talking about in the Masters is totally research-based and landing a job after that program is really thought (Review by one of the toppers). its only good if you want to get into the Phd otherwise its a big NO

Hey Shivam, we have hired designers from SFU. It's once of the recommended and recognized colleges here., offers a co-op program. Companies also know well about it, sure if your research specifically for Masters program says its not a good. Please do deep dive into other colleges! Good work done! Best of luck on your research!

@@beingtrups thank you, I have been following you on instagram for quite a long time. Your posts are really helpful 😃 and i recently came across your KZfaq channel. I have a suggestion, Can you prepare a step by step guide for people like me who is from software engineering and want to get into designing as early as possible. Like recommended online courses or software we should first use or something like that just a pathway that can be easily followed. As there is too much information on internet and its really tough to decide a track.

Trupti, I would just say, I LOVE YOU for this video. I have been trying to search for atleast a single video that gives me hope of me studying Design in Canada. Thank you yrr ... thank you so much. .... I have done Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Tech and I want to study masters of design in Canada. Currently I am working as a UI/UX Designer. I have a BE in comp science, a design diploma and masters in design. If you have a design portfolio and basics covered then getting into masters would be easier. Check out my other videos of my own transition

Hi Trupti Thanks for this video. I'm a engineer turned product designer. I've 3.5years of experience. I m willing to pursue masters in design. I've recently started looking for universities. Some top universities have mentioned GPA as >76% as one of the point for admission requirement and My GPA in engineering is around 62%. I would like to know if I should stop shortlisting universities with such requirement ?

As an experience designer if you already have the education, than it makes no sense to get in for a masters degree , you can try for a PHD course or try PR directly if you have over 6 years of experience

You can, depending on what course you want to pursue and if you are eligible for the particular course

I did my bachelor in architecture too. there are some diploma courses in architectural technology(they wont call you an architect also not worth it after bachelor) but if you want to work as a licensed architect in Canada then you must do professional masters. You can do any other design related short course if you're interested in other fields.

Go to Center for Creative Studies in Detroit. Or Art Institute in California. Don't waste your time in Canada. No vehicel design done here, except minimally in Quebec

University of Manitoba has masters in interior design, 2-3 year program. Other colleges in Toronto have diploma courses in interior design.

Hey Mallika, what kind of job do you want to do? If its UX research you course if appropriate. If you job needs you to do extensive research than thesis based is perfect
