@@Motownisyourtown I agree. I think it's more the fault of the player than the guitar, lol. The banjo patch was way too loud, though.

I've since stopped using that Variax and play a variety of other guitars instead. My playing has improved in the last 7 years, too. This backyard party was my first full gig since "retiring" as a pro guitarist about 35 years earlier.

Needs a lot more bass OR move the video mic closer to the bass player.
