Episode 5 of Listen Up! is a recording of the seminar Mike Pondsmith gave at the 2019 GAMA Trade show entitled, "How to Avoid All the Stupid Mistakes I Made On the Way to Game Design Success". Special thanks to everyone who attended the lecture and to the brave souls who risked staring directly at Mike's shirt in order to ask questions.

I still remember just how easy it was to learn Interlock, I believe the most fundamental issue in any game system is to make the core mechanics detailed enough to avoid conflict between players(gm's included), then get the hell out of the way. Interloc does that better than any other system.

coming from d20 interlock was the easiest thing ever, and I really love complimentary skill checks, as well as the approach to backstory and character design. great game

What about making a transcript version of this talk (and others like this one) that can be linked to in the description?, audio is very hard to follow. Auto-captions isn't accurate.
