Monsta X never made conventional Kpop to me, they always were unique and I'm so happy people are getting into them and waking up to their talents and music. Their discography alone I can live off of and be so happy with

I discover something about this album and maybe I'm overthinking but, look, do you all know that this album plays with the duality rigth? Well for the ones who don't know, all the teasers and previews for this album in particular and even the album logo of monsta x plays with it (half of the logo is black and the other one is white), the Shoot out MV even displays this concept of 7 deadly sins and how they discover their way to the ligth; the interesing part is that you can see the tracks in the same way. 5 songs are ligth, full of hope, surprise, positive energy like when you start a relationship, the exciment, the butterflies, the cuteness, healthy desesperation and passion you feel: heart attack, I do love you, mohae, oh my and spotligth. Meawhile, the other 5 are songs of desesperation, lost and sadness, like you can feel the loneliness, the break up of the relationship, the regret, the need of that someone but at the same time the figth of know that person isn't good for you: intro, underwater, shoot out, myself and by my side. Idk if this is a coincidence or not, if it's not monsta x and their album production director are geniuses.

It makes total sense when u say when IM rap that he sounds like he's about to cry. There's this video when the members eat together and having a conversation, and Shownu said one day he wanted to listen to new songs, but he ended up fell asleep because the songs IM gave to him are slow and mellow songs 😂

i love monsta x so much because they're not conventional and you can see that in are you there, they have their dark side but they also have a soft and energetic side, idk why they're so underrated because they have everything you could ask in a group

mx has such an interesting vibe that you just cant help but fall in love with them. I don't think I've ever heard a song by them that was bad and I say that with all honesty. They play around with different sounds and genres a lot but it always sounds fantastic and lives up to and beyond expectations. I'm never disappointed with an mx comeback. They're the second group I ever stanned when I got into kpop and they've come so far in the few months I've listened to them and I'm just unbelievably proud. Underwater is my favourite song off of are you there and one of my favourite songs in general a long with heart attack
