i just realised i failed a geno route on normal undertale when i first tried and on undertale yellow when i first tried. normal undertale i didn’t spare, but i didn’t actively grind, and only realised something was up when i got to the undyne fight. undertale yellow i grinded enemies, but didn’t realise there’s different enemies for each room, and i didn’t realise anything was up until i met starlo, which is pretty much the same % through the game as i was in undertale. also, both times were “this doesn’t look like it would lead up to the epic fight i saw”. history repeats itself, i suppose

I feel like every boss monster would react differently to their own theme: Fever Pitch - Decibat would try to cover his ears from the loud music Forlorn - Dalv is probably doing some little dance like hand moves under his cloak Protocol - I believe that Martlet can dance to her own theme song perfectly, just nailing every move like it's no big deal. She just trained so much to make sure she can at least don't mess up her own theme DANZA - Video speaks for itself Deal 'Em Out - Every member of Feisty Four (except Starlo) is doing their own dances, or just bouncing to the rhythm Showdown! - Starlo at first is doing a typical western stand-off, before saying ,,Let's dance" and then both he and Clover starts dancing like in the video TENTH LEVEL LOCKDOWN - at first a big menacing robot standing looking down on Clover, then Gardener starts doing that Cuphead Flower Dance (don't know the name) Guns Blazing - Axis is not dancing, he's just attacking BEST FRIENDS FORVER - Flowey is first just bouncing around innocently, but as it starts going on his face becomes all monster like, then he just rips himself off the ground and starts chasing after Clover AFTERLIFE - Flowey is looking down as Clover is dodging his attacks specimen all - same as in the video END OF THE LINE_ - Clover is shooting down Axis while he's blocking his bullets with thrash can lid Apprehension, Remedy, Retribution - Zenith Martlet is not dancing to her theme, she IS playing all of them, nailing every part perfectly, and who knows maybe even uses guitar like an axe like Adam from Hazbin Hotel Trail By Fury - Clover and Ceroba dualing like in some anime Some Point of No Return - same as in video A Mother's Love part 1 and 2 - All out Finale Battle A Place to Rest - Clover, Martlet, Starlo, Ceroba, Dalv sitting, looking at the rising sun as Clover life fade away, Clover smiles as he knows that his friends are finally free 😭
