Either way, it does point out how we often take for granted the burdens that are carried for us by others without us considering how we would manage without them or in their place. It's easy to say someone is doing a bad job or not doing good enough, but many people will criticize without questioning how well they would be able to do in the circumstances and under a continuous expectation to perform.

I love your comment that this song is very deep, because it really is true. Of all the songs, I feel like this one is deepest and most relatable. I know that 'Bruno' is most people's favorite, and it is very fun, but this song? THIS sums up so much of the movie's theme in a very real way that is just so relatable. What's the opposite of compression? Tension; pulling. Thus, the opposite of Surface Compression would be Surface Tension, which is a thing that happens mostly in liquids. As we hear from the song; "I'm as hard as the core of the earth is". We can examine that she clearly considers herself to be a solid, a very dense one in fact.
