Yeat obviously isn’t a lyrical genius but the FLOW and the BEAT along with his unique sound that he uses almost like “meme” sounds during his songs is what stands out. He’s successful because his his audience is probably young teens who party and he has that vibe of just having fun.

Hey boss just want to educate you on something you do not know, Yeat created the song IDGAF back in Late 2021 and kept it unreleased because of how good it was and how different it was, he was just sitting on it and holding it I guess for the right moment and the right feature to release this song. He is signed to Zach Bia / Field Trip Records and Zach & Drake are best friends so it was enivatiable that Drake x Yeat collab would be cooking. I was just so happy we got to get this unreleased snippet song to get released and also a great drake ft imo...

Kind of like WLR changed in some sort of aspect, however WLR was met with huge critics hating everything about it until like 6-7 months later when everyone loved it.

Yeat made IDGAF with BNYX’s beat and gave it to Drake. It's number 1 rn but it was already popular within the community cus of snippets/leaks. I think it would've gone up there without Drake, it's just that everyone listens to him anyway. Them 2 together, it was obvious it was going to be up there in the charts.
