If artist actually put in the effort to change and be more lyrical and realize that music is suppose to be fun, and have a good time, and not about drugs, sex, and violence.

Cool short story about this song. About a year ago I was at a hockey game and this song was being played during stoppage of play. The play resumed and the song was stopped just after he said "Still Burninggg". However, that did not stop 20,000 fans in the arena all yelling out "PLEASE TELL ME WHYYYYYY MY CAR IS IN THE FRONT YARDDDDD...". Epic moment!

I miss late 90s and early 00s teen and college movies! They were the best. I used to go to the movie theater with all my neighborhood friends to watch them and we were pre-teens, and later teens 😂 I remember we watched in theaters American Pie, AP2 , Not Another Teen Movie and more teen movies. I was 12 in 2000.

I’ve been my worst enemy since I was younger. I was in high school when this song dropped and then lived a lot of that through my 20’s and some of my early 30’s, in my early 40’s now. Song came on randomly at work yesterday and instantly made me smile. I mean, I’m still my own worst enemy, but I’m sober, and smile that I’ve lived a great life.

I Swear, being a kid in the late 90s - early 2000s was was so magical. everything has this indescribable tranquility to it. everything was peaceful and things were so easy. the music is good, fast food actually tasted like something and the world in general was just a little better place. all you had to worry about back than was what was gonna gonna happen in the next episode of Saturday morning cartoons!

no you guys are just airheads. first off music is subjective. a song doesn't have to necessarily mean the same thing to you as the artists intended. second, you would be dumb to sit here and say the those two emotions are only tied to metal. you also cant talk when you have a misfits playlist. I'm sure punk has a dash of hatred in their songs but who am I to say. most metal today like lorna shore has way more emotion than most of the generic mainstream stuff nowadays. metal uses more than just two emotions, juts like other genres dont just talk about rainbow and sunshine all the time. you can find depressing and hateful songs in almost every genre.

This song is a double whammy for me. First it reminds me of being in high school in the 00s, but it’s also the anthem for all of my romantic relationships and my life in general between getting out of the Marine Corps and meeting my wife. I’m very thankful and lucky I can listen to this song and laugh about that time in my life.

Mainstream music has gone to complete shit but in this day and age there is way more good, intricate music out there. The music like this that is defended from past decades and considered the best music ever is very often just basic rock music. Not music that is musically profound or anything and that bothers the shit out of me.

I was 8 when I told my brother Queen were shit. 35 years on I think they are possibly the greatest band to have ever played !!!
