It was before he became big, way before that. He got popular through this and this was one of the MAIN reasons parents and elder people used to scold youth for following him, and tried to keep him away. This is a black spot in his mostly controversial career, though as a fan you can defend anything else you can't defend this shi. He denies publically that he sang this song, there was a court case filed against him in 2014 for singing this and they somehow buried it. The current Indian hip hop scene is NOTHING in front of what controversies and music and pop stuff was happening back then when Honey took over.

The major verse is of badshah from second verse, he used to write for yoyo in which he featured.Yo Yo doesn't claim this song saying someone mimicked his voice as another song he won the case for main hoon balatakari which some guy posted on yt mimicking him. Court took his voice samples to compare and he won the case after that.
