We decide to take our Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon back to the trail known as Holy Cross in Colorado! Equipped with a 6.4L SRT Hemi swap and 40" Milestar Patagonia M/T Black Labels, we hope to finally conquer the rock crawling obstacle known as Cleveland Rock. Instead, we nearly roll the Jeep.

Whoa, Kevin! That ledge - 30 degrees of "Pucker Factor"! Then going ballistic on that rock! Then your moves at the end on the van roof! I'm speechless...Nice to see both StepChild and FosterChild together in the wild. That's some of the most scenic wheeling areas I've seen - only on YT though; gotta get to Colorado in person. Hope there's some 3 and 4 rated trails for my WK. LiteBriteNationMovesTheRoof!

One of your BEST rock crawl videos yet. Kevin is a terrific driver, and Brittany a world class spotter. I'd follow her lines anywhere. Hopefully we'll see you at Hurricane this fall and winter!

“What?! Where am I?” Kevin said it on the Peace Trail while getting unstuck in the mud, then Brittany used Kevin’s line at Holy Cross when you accidentally said “when we get 42”s next”. Too funny.🤣🤣

Holy cross here I come! Can’t wait to move out to Colorado and do some hardcore wheeling like that. Definitely won’t be attacking the hard hard lines, but will for sure be attacking some of the difficult-ish lines. Very excited!

I love how damage to your vehicles has little negative impact (no pun intended)🤟. Some people get to emotional to damage that serious, probably me if I wheeled like you two. I will say as enjoyable as overlanding is, we did miss the big boy rocks and the sound of the Hemi. 😊😊

Who wouldn't miss the hemi ? Well, I guess the fuel tank wouldn't. 😄 That said, the Gladiator took you to some beautiful places, some of those vistas were just wonderful! 😁

A trick we use in the UK is detachable weight frames and a selection of tractor weights, with mountings front and rear we can stabilize the vehicle on those off camber climbs and keep all 4 wheels in contact. Give it a try ;)

Hey ya'all don't feel to bad I have only seen two rigs make it up "THE ROCK" Very well built CJ 7's running 40 Swampers. I tried it 4 times in my old built to the hilt 77 Scout and never came close to making it. TSL Super Swampers and BFG KM 2's were the best to be had back in the mid 90's. Biggest KM 2 was 35 they made Swampers up to 42 I ran 38 Swampers. At least I did not roll it or tear anything up and glad you did not either.There use to be a very bad mud bog up there years ago. ROCK ON!

Saw the Step Child today in Ouray. Our kiddos were not cooperating so we did not try to say hello. Headed to engineer and cinnamon tomorrow. Glad to see the step child back in action!

Lmfao, 😂 catching up. Kevin, you don't always have to conquer the mountain to be the "King" of the mountain. Your strength and perseverance will get you there. Who is flying your drone? Get an attachment point on your front axle so you can attach the winch to it and suck your axle down. Helps on those steep inclines
