Just make sure the race is less than the Cybertruck's reduced range when racing. I'd say less than 50 miles from a charger.

It is not 9k pounds. It's only 6.6k pounds. The 9k number is the gross vehicle weight which includes the 2.5k payload capacity.

Thanks for info on HandyFlag. Been looking for something like this for my Jeep. Going to Jeep Jamboree USA in Tillamook Oregon in June and some of their trails are on the beach and dunes.

The higher end one is pushing 7k, out the door… Now I’m sure they got the 9k guess wrong, but with mods, I wouldn’t be surprised with 8k. That’s a beast

@@andyackerman7123 but what mods? They didn’t put a different motor in it. There isn’t a different battery pack available. The extended pack isn’t available yet. Even if this is a tri-motor it’s just a bit over 6,800 lbs.

If you don’t know about DieselSpark, then you don’t know he takes any vehicles over the top until it’s broke. He’s known for breaking 💩 As far as that cybertruck goes, it was given to him to do what he wants. He put on some huge tracks on it & it broke.

Off topic but have a question. Is a posi traction the same as locking diff. ? Looking at getting a jeep, 2000 wrangler sport utility 2d 4.0 manual plus winch Says 169k for $8k Says it has an posi rear end, and eaton locker Dana 44 front locking diff. Is that good? Would it be good for trailing? Thanks

Little crazy, but still looks like it was a lot safer then No-Prep Drag Racing. When someone gets around to doing a Rock Bouncer out of a Cybertruck, that lowe CoG is going to make things interesting, as is, looks like it's second biggest weakness off road, is lack of ground clearance.

What I saw was a very flat bottomed cyber truck that turtled everytime it tried to pull… like many/most of Elon’s car ideas they work in an urban environment but fail spectacularly once they’re off pavement or even outside of a city. The one thing that kinda spoiled the whole game was the weathers lack of cooperation … I think the pulling event really showed this,it was basically just a hole digging event instead of a towing event. I still enjoyed watching but hopefully next years event will have more favorable conditions
