“Honk if something falls off” that resonates with me. DEF/Exhaust skid fell off on an obstacle at Rausch Creek 2 days ago. 🙄 I should’ve held out for Next Venture’s diesel plates 😖 On the upside, it was FINALLY my daughter’s first trip out with me and she LOVES IT. 🤘

We’re heading back out to Rausch in 2 weeks, then VT in Oct, then to AOAA in Nov, and about once a month in the Northeast moving forward with my local club. Again, thank you. Y’all got us out there! Once I get the seat time, definitely want to join my club’s “travel team” (lovingly referred to as “the idiots” 😆 who hit the reds here in the NE and 9-pluses out there) and head out to Utah, Colorado, Cali, and maybe even the PNW.

The tail lights on that Lexus are the coolest understated taillights I've ever seen!!!! Whenever I had Toyota rock crawlers I intentionally did not modify the engine because the benefit was that I couldn't overwhelm the drivetrain I've even if I got bound up so I literally never broke anything in the drivetrain unless I did something completely dumb(which I was still capable of once in a while.)🥴

I was hooked by the 1st. time catching StepChild climbing up "the chute" way back. Yup..., much better than cartoons; much more exciting & entertaining. Brit & Kevin letting us tag along is a hoot. You don't realize the beating the Stepchild takes till you see it in person. That Jeep along with it's owners were celebs this weekend at Jeep Invasion. Enjoyed the hell out of meeting you, Jelly and the Stepchild. Hope you guys come back next year. AND Thanks again for the Bilstein thermos. I can't wash now that you and Kev signed it. lol

OK, then it’s gonna be time for Kevin to do the “8-wheel-drive Stepchild” mod… that’s a “gravity switch power divider.” When you get over enthusiastic and flip it, the over-head additional 4 driving wheels kick in and Stepchild just keeps on keeping on until you flip it back! That’s when Ol’ George needs to hold your beer!! ;^)

The Lexus LX450 is rated at 4.5L (212 HP) basically a Toyota Landcruiser. I think it did a good job for the trails it was on. Those are big ole' rocks!

Tarantula Hawk Wasp! Yes... they actually kill Tarantulas, although that one was killing a grasshopper. They lay their eggs inside the paralyzed Tarantula and the larva grows and eats off the still-living paralyzed Tarantula. I know, a little nerdy, but it's related to what I do for a living, lol.

The 6 paks could not keep up with the hemi and the weight of the jeep with 1 tons and all the other mods. Bilstein has what it takes to compete at all levels
