I study a lot of types of dreaming. I have had a variety of anomalous dream experiences from lucid dreams, out of body, sleep paralysis, night terrors, etc. Some impactful dreams involved content that was violent (wounding of my dream body) that resulting in physical body marks (puncture wounds in a line with highly geometric properties). Have you ever had violent sleep paralysis? I don't deny that some dreams may have physical effects, which I believe the abduction narrative reveals.
