Current cost for Lithium Ion cells for Automotive applications is $135/KWHr which is Rs10,000 KW. This company assembles it into a pack and sells it on for Rs13,000, which seems very reasonable. I do hope they can source made in India cells soon. Thank you

WE, INDIANS, DO NOT WANT LITHIUM ION BATTERY. WE WANT ALU-AIR BATTERY OR BLADE BATTERY WHICH ARE MORE Enviorement friendly, more mileage per charge, less charging time, less weight, less space consuming and more safe to heat and fire.

Highly unlikely The major cause of fire is thermal runaway in the cells. The LFE cells are better rated than NMC in this regards. The highest temperatures in the desert in Furnace Creek was 57C. LFP is rated for 250C before thermal runaway, while NMC its 150C. The second way to get thermal runaway is in a short in the internal battery that generates heat leading to 150C or 250C temperature This typically is caused by a poor battery charge and management system overcharging the cells and causing them to grow tiny whiskers or dendrites inside the cell that can lead to an internal short. This will happen in any weather condition not just a hot sunny day. The last way is to force a short by driving a nail or crushing the cells. The cells are designed to internally fuse in this case, preventing a fire. Hope this helps

Mandela better go for ev lessthan Rs. 50,000. Ev drawbacks No resale value Pulling Load with 50 kg rice bag is a big ? Too expensive bateries. Poor Built quality. Service? Toll free numbers ??? Spares? Replcement of battery =petrol for three years.

The price is looks like for a grade A battery but the warrenty is less then I expected. Either the price should be around rs.20k/kWh or the warrenty should be atleast 4years.

Grade A cell arr very costly currently...i thinnk only 2-3 manufacturers arr using grade A Cells others are using grade B only

Charging EV at home is fine, my question is if suppose someone charges EV only using DC fast charge continously over the period of time (like filling petrol), will this have any impact on battery life/health I heard many people saying,avoid fast charge as much as possible, I'm not sure if this statement is correct or not

These people are offering only 3 years warranty on battery and only 1500 charge cycles, high quality A grade battery will offer 3000+ charge cycles and leading mfg offer 5 years warranty. looks like they are using B grade batteries to maximise their profits

So if you want to run a 3 Kilowatt pack vehicle at a price range of 13 W/hr it will cost you 39,000 INR, where global index is 73 USD/Kwh it'll be around 5.4 INR so if I buy a battery from these guys i will lose 7.6 rupees.
