I decided to conduct a social experiment seeing how people would react if a lost girl asked them for help. The results were shocking!

Yeah sometimes it happens in real life where you see kids in the street without knowing where their parents are. It's really heartbreaking to see that. Anytime I watch videos like this it makes me feel emotional. May God bless all of us and guide us to the right direction ❤️❤️🤗

I think we all remember that time when we lost our mom at the grocery store and a deep panic set in.. we thought we were going to die. We weren't totally wrong tho.. Anyone could have snatched me from the street and I don't even know my mom's phone number I'm fuckin 5 years old..that terror was 100% legitimate

@@PurpleObscuration because I saw a stray cat and ran around the corner to pet it when my mom was talking to her friend? A hundred reasons these things happen, no fault of my parents. I would say it’s my fault bc I was 5, but I don’t think 5 year olds are entirely responsible for their actions.

I had a similar experience with a lost child at the mall. She was crying and desperate to find her mom so I comforted her and told her I would wait with her until her mom showed up. There was no mall security anywhere even though we were in the center of the mall. We waited about 15 minutes on the bench for her mom and then started looking for her through the stores. We finally found her going through the clothes rack. The mother shot the kid an icy look and gave me an annoyed thank you. What broke my heart was the mother's reaction to her kid. The child was with me for almost half an hour. How does a mother not notice or care if her kid gets lost in the mall?

When I worked at J.C. Penny's decades ago, one store manager would place the lost kid on the checkout counter in the middle of the store then jump up there himself and stand up. He would then hold the kid up in the air and yell "mom" very loudly. This usually got quick results. They don't do things like that anymore.

Thanks to disgusting people that inappropriately take advantage of vulnerable people, you are no longer allowed to touch children no matter how good your intentions are. I stopped wanting to be a primary teacher when here in NSW Australia they said you cannot comfort a crying child, you have to make them suffer and l;et them cry in a corner or something.

It reminds me of when I got lost in a busy shopping centre when I was around seven. I was with one of our family friends who had her children and a few others (it was her daughter’s birthday party so we had gone for some ice cream). Somehow I got separated and it wasn’t long before I noticed. I initially panicked but being as reserved as I am, I had to to stay calm. Anyone could have snatched me at that point. Then I remembered what my teacher told us and that was to find a police officer, security guard or a store assistant and tell them that we were lost. I found a store assistant and told her and she took me to the information desk who made an announcement. My Parents friends came within a few minutes and picked me up. They had a go at me but they later praised me for being sensible enough to get help like that. Looking back, they were probably more panicked than me. It is important that we as a society whether we have children or not teach children what to do in such an event of getting lost. It saved me.

I just stumbled onto your channel, and it's actually warming my heart to see there are still enough people out there willing to help someone in need. I sometimes doubt that in our current society, while I would be willing to help, and have actually done so in the past. It's far too easy to lose faith in humanity, but these videos prove not all is lost...

I recall being very small and in a crowded mall with my mother. Lost her in the crowd. I was crying. A man in a dark suit and shiny shoes asked if I was okay and I told him I was lost. He brought me up an escalator to a high spot where Mom could see me and stayed there until she found me. That was about 52 years ago. I'll never forget that kind man with the shiny shoes. The main thing I fear for a child lost is the probable, possibility of a sick monster obtaining the luck of meeting one. I am a large man. I raised my daughter by myself. I often had her friends with me as I love children and not in any creepy kind of way . I am somewhat apprehensive in a situation as the one portrayed here and would quickly find a security guard or police or at least a woman to protect me and what I was trying to do in reuniting this girl with her mother. In a moment's notice a man can be accused of some pretty bad things so to the men out there I say, absolutely help any child in need but be wary of your own safety as well.

Before I read the second half of your comment I thought it was sad that you had to add the not in a creepy way after you said you loved kids, as if men can't love kids as well. @@DMp-xp6mj You are so right. We tried to take him to security, but he didn't want to leave the area with us (smart kid!!!). My buddy stayed with him, while I flagged down security.

Indeed, putting ourselves in the little girl's shoes, we can imagine how scary it can be not having the sense of security if having a parent close by, the kid is already scared so we should remain calm, reassure the kid with kindness and compassion and guide him or her to the best option to solve the situation, I urge all parents on that situation to be kind and explain to the child one must be careful, scolding the child will only add trauma to the scare

This actually happened to me last year, first thing I said was, you are safe and I’ll stay with you until you find your Dad, at that moment all other priorities were reminded. 3 minutes later we found him.

Try this in a rough city, and she'll just get taken and sold. It's a sad world we live in.

Why is that so shocking, that's what good caring people do. Should be shocking to see anything less.

The way all the adults handled it went at least part of the way to restoring my faith in human nature. I wonder of there were any that were not helpful or kind who were not included in the video.

When I was 13 or 14, I was with my mother in Tiberias once here in Israel, and I saw a little kid by himself. He was like 6 or 7 I think. And I thought he was by himself, so I went up to him and asked him if he's lost and where are his parents etc. And I was really relieved when he told me his parents were inside the store. I guess he was just outside waiting for them but my heart was beating and I was scared for the child so I just wanted to help out. But luckily he said his mom and dad were around and he was fine. I was happy to hear that! Now I am 17 and I think a lot about that day and I was proud of the fact that I was so kind to him. Of course! I love kids! There is no reason to NOT be kind to them!
