They get food and dirt stuck in them and smell, it's not nice to kiss someone with hair all over their face rubbing on you. Most men with beards have them to hide a weak chin or unattractive face tbh. A short well groomed beard is okay I guess.

I remember when my Mom got her hair highlighted for the first time. She went from brunette to blonde, and when I saw her, I started crying like crazy. She asked me why I was crying, and I said, "You look like a Barbie doll!" Trust me, I can relate to Marley.
