We have something very similar in Haiti 🇭🇹 I wonder if this is the root of it. there is always a dancer and we would give them donations as they dance to drums just like this

Its said that Africa ia the root of civilization. Not to mention the famous Peter Tosh line "No matter where you come from,as long as you're a black man (person) you're an African "! If Jamaica has Ghanian history why shouldn't Haiti? There are quite a few cultures that give money to a dancer,regardless of whatever type of music /instruments are being played.

The interviewer asked her age. She said she's 6 yrs old. Then he asked how she learnt to dance and she said she Wasn't taught by anyone. She only saw others dance while she was carried on her mum's back and she started to dance too. Her parents said its her talent.
