Little Girl's Twists and Beads | Kid's Protective Hairstyle

Hey ya'll! Today I'm styling my 6 year old's hair into a kid's protective hairstyle thats been on my mind.
I loved doing regular twists for her when she was younger but now that she's getting a little older I decided to add hair for some more length so that she had options when styling from day to day.
I know for some styling your little's hair can be overwhelming and sometimes scary but it doesn't have to be. Perfection is not required only that you try! In this video I drop some gems on how to accomplish twists that don't unravel or loosen over time.
This video picks up right after we've finished blow drying but if you'd like more on how we wash condition and blow dry then check out our video titled Little Girl's Lemonade Braids.
As always you have to have snacks and entertainment if you're going to have a chance styling your child's hair and remember to give breaks so both of you stay happy throughout the process.

I loooce this . I'm actually going to try this right now on my 3 year old hair . Very nice and easy to do..thanks I always put puff puff my go to but we need something different

Use Outre Xpression Twisted Up Springy Afro Twist. It doesn’t tangle and it’s pre-separated and pre-fluffed.

Where do you use the shine and jam gel, at the base of twist or the entire twist?

At the base to help keep the section neat and then also on her natural hair to help it blend in with the extension

Yes, absolutely you can just use her hair. We added hair here so that her ends wouldn’t be out/ as exposed.

Why would you brush through her tips with that small tooth comb and pull on dry hair like that omfg if someone did that to your hair u wud be so vexed. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫
