I'm a 54 yo man and used to love Little House. This last 6 months I watched the show daily on Hallmark channel and relived it with the aspect of time. It brought more tears and joy now than it ever did when I was young. The World is a better place because we got to share the lives of "the Ingalls". TV needs more shows like this and The Waltons that a Grandpa can watch with his Grandkids. Family Love, Morals and Values never go out of style with the times...

I wish you knew how sorry I was for this so dramatic experience that because you lived at such a tender age as the childhood, I assure you as a Professor that you will find it very difficult to overcome it. Without disappointing, probably and never. I wish God to soothe your child's mentally injuries. Pavlidis Dimitrios

I grew up watching Little House on the Prairie I was 9 years old when it started in 1974, I am 51 years old now. I loved the show back then and I still do now and I still watch it now. The cast were absolutely perfect and so was the acting and the stories and the sets and the scenery. It is one of my favourite shows of all time. Also the fact that it is based on the lives of real people who actually existed in real life makes it even better and the show never looks out of date even though it is set in the 1870's and 1880's.

I grew up in an orphanage in Sion Switzerland. My parents died in a car accident. Little House on the Prairie (Petite maison solitaire) I never like the French translations, it means “Little lonely house” and there was nothing lonely about that house. I love that show so much, I would dream that was my family. Now I watch it with my fiancée she loves it also. I’m sorry about your parents! That’s wonderful that you will alway have good memories of them.

“Nellie” is simply adorable. Oh how I wish they would make a reunion movie that would be awesome!! And it is so much fun to watch Little House now knowing that in fact she and Melissa were from the very beginning and still are the best of friends. How much fun they had being mean to one another when in actually they really loved one another. And “Mrs. Olsen” actually loved the children and loved being around them. She was considered as a mother figure on the set.

I stumbled upon this video later at night after watching an episode of Little House. I'm 55 years old now. This show was a really big part of my family's tradition growing up from Ohio to Arizona. I bought the entire set for my daughter for $100. I don't think she watched it yet, but I like to imagine that she eventually will, with her son when he's older, and she'll think fondly of her dad and cherish his intent. I will admit to anyone, that this is the best TV show ever made, hands down.

Although this video is several years old & we've said goodbye to even more cast members, it still brings back fond memories. I grew up watching the show & introduced my daughter to it when she was old enough to understand it. I was lucky enough to meet Dean Butler in person & he signed a copy of my Little House book (which I still have). Now my family lives in the last state Laura & Manly called home & only a few hrs drive to both Rocky Ridge & the Kansas location (my daughter was over the moon to visit). LHOP was of better times & moral values that many didn't realize they were learning via TV. To cast & crew---Thank you so much for all you did & taught & for giving 9 yrs of your lives to the best family show (in my opinion) that has ever existed.

Loved this show! It was aired during my formative years and was part of my teenage life. Totally had a crush on Melissa Sue Anderson and her piercing blue eyes!

I think the show inspired everyone to reach for the higher ideal of being good people. I know I aspired to be like Charles and still try to emulate him even though I'm 48 years old....
