And like usual they don't call out the main race of people who is the biggest culprit in all of it.

Little Italy is surrounded by bad neighborhoods. I wish I wasn't old enough to remember when Baltimore was a beautiful city they tried to clean it up some but it will never be what it was.

I can relate (born 1973). I remember walking around the Inner Harbor/downtown back in the eighties - mid nineties without a care in the world let alone being worried about something bad happening to me. Ditto for Little Italy, I loved that neighborhood and still do. I still remember going to my Senior Prom at Chipparelli’s for dinner then Vacarro’s for dessert. It’s definitely not the Baltimore that I remember and grew up in but it will always be home to me.

Baltimore has had over 60 years of corruption.... They tried to protect the profitable parts of the city.... Until the riots they were able to somewhat keep the crime in certain areas... Add you can see Baltimore isn't that big in the grand scheme of cities... So essentially you can make your way from a good part to a very bad part just by walking a couple blocks... The only thing that kept little Italy safe from the riots in the 60's was an Italian mayor.... Related to Nancy pelosi.. Who put the national guard at the "inner harbor" which just happens to be right next to little Italy.
