She is so cute but agree is over priced

She’s pretty , just not 129$ pretty. I understand that prices are inflated for the parks however this does not make it ok. Like common this doll doesn’t even come with a brush🙄 this doll is obviously for collectors since they are the only ones who would actually buy this. No one sane buys a doll like this for their child to destroy. This is just another case of Disney trying to make some coin

She was pretty much thrown to the wayside thr day she released due to all the negativity that people were spreading but she is sooooo beautiful! Great review! I think she's beautiful and I totally agree with the points you made about her primary purpose is to be a park souvenir! 💕. I just feel thankful that I have to opportunity to get her regardless if I go to the park or not :-).

Ariel is a real gem, or pearl of the sea! Love the seashell earrings and centerpiece! And her hair has such nice volume! Magical review!

I randomly found on Amazon for 60 bucks so the second I saw her I knew I had to have her

I was one of the people who didn't like her very much (coming from a MASSIVE Ariel fan) but she has definitely grown on me. I can't justify paying $130 for a doll that is no where near as intricate as the $120 Heirloom dolls. HOWEVER, since she has grown on and I think she's a very pretty doll, I might invest in her at some point anyway.

I got this doll a while ago and had her in the box. Today I finally desided to unbox her, and she really looks so nice out of the box. And it is funny enough that she was considered to have not a lot of details, while actually she got more embroidery work than most of the latter dolls from 2019.

I ordered mine a few days ago and it has been shipped from the Disney Store, I think even though she's expensive for what she is, she still is beautiful and the dress is very pretty. It may be a simple dress but I think it is pretty nice. I agree with what you say, she is a parks exclusive "technically" and she also is an anniversary doll so that probably justifies her price, but 80$ sounds better but I could never see Disney doing that lol.

I think disney doing park limited edition dolls is a good idea. Especially if they come out very accurately.

I agree with you that the doll is beautiful. I love the color compare to pink cuz every doll is usually pink version. I think the detail are amazing. However, I do agree for $120 it is too simple. The doll not bad but they could have just added a bit more bell and whistle like the aurora doll. Yes, the pink was just a copy cat but a copy cat with lots of details. Add some rhinestone on the top, some pearls on the side sleeve, add a shiny gem or pearl on the brooch, give her pearl necklace, some kind of crown with pearl, add little gems on the bottom of dress with the embroidery, add some gem on the mesh flap of her dress, more detail earing, and some pearls on her shoe. THere a lot that could have been added and it wouldn't cost much. The doll $120 but without the detail it should only be $100 top for a limited edition. (I am thinking $75 for this doll for lack of detail). So I do agree with you that it is so beautiful and the hate is ridiculous. Nerveless, disney could just add some detail and everyone happy but they were cheap.

She is definitively better then Aurora, sorry not sorry ! I hope Disneystore will make also some 12'' Ariel dolls with her green dress, because this "non-official" dress is so better on her ! I love the fact they did a non-official dress for her, in my head it's like Eric gave to Ariel that green dress, because he wanted a dress which reminds her mermaid appearence ♥ I also hope they could do other non-official dresses for some other Disney Princesses (like Aurora in a pink AND blue dress, and Snow White in a white/black/red dress, they could be so better...)

If they can make dolls based on the Ariel character in Disney parks, then they can make dolls based on the live-action Ariel hopefully played by Francesca Angelucci Capaldi!

Why do all these Disney princess dolls have such oblong faces these days? It's not accurate at all. It's a real shame, because other than that the hair is gorgeous and outfits are nice. I prefer 90's Disney dolls by Mattel.
