I feel like this song was deadass written for apple. Like SERIOUSLY it fits her storyline perfectly. When the singer mentions how she can’t risk falling off her thrown seems to be about apple. Apple will fall in love with Darling but she knows she can’t be with her because she would be putting her destiny, something so important to her and her family at risk, causing her to lose the approval of her mom and her fans all over the kingdom, and I think that’s the “throne” she’d be falling off of. Whenever the song talks about straight As, straight forward, straight girl, it hits 100% home because apple has done nothing but thrived to have good grades, follow her destiny without any hesitance, and be with her “Prince Charming.” She acts like she likes him despite almost never spending time with him. You can clearly tell that she was putting on an act every time she batted her eyes at him because the moment she realized he failed to wake her up from enchanted sleep she completely dropped the act. I will never forget the scene afterwards where apple and daring look at each other with very forced & artificial smiles capturing how hollow and fake their relationship was from the start, and how both of them know deep down that they don’t love each other. So yeah, this song fits insanely well, and could be used as inspiration for the next chapter in Apple’s storyline ❤️🍎

I feel like it would make sense for apple to be adopted like the song says. Think about it, she has *blonde hair* and *pink lips* and if you know the story of Snow White you know that she typically has skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair black as night/ebony

actually, in the brother's grimm version, the sister of snow white has blonde hair, so it would actually make sense, but I've also thought about that before when I didn't know they only focused on the brother's grimm version

Darling x Apple got confirmed canon by the kiss, it wasn't CPR that's why the movie didn't got continued but left out to rot for those 8 years as i know.

Theory that pepole need to know: Snow White got kissed by Prince Charming who is now king charming and that means Darling,Dexter and Daring are apple white’s siblings or cousins

it's been explained in both the show and books that theyre not related as there are so many charming families that share the same last name but arent blood related at all.
