yeah, that used some melodies from one song, but I don’t know which one. I tried to look for some info but there’s not much to look for, it only says that they sampled something 😭

Yes! They sampled some of the lyrics for their chorus from an old school group Curiosity Killed the Cat’s “Name and Number” from 1996 but also took inspiration with the production from Jaheim who also sampled from the original artist for his song “Ain’t Leavin’ Without You” in 2010

lol i’ve been a little mix fan since they dropped “Wings” and when that song came out I was just like you wondering why the song already felt so familiar cause my dad always played r&b classics including Jaheim

juke, the song 'How ya doin' It's not a cover, it's part of Little Mix's 1st album (which was released in November 2012), the little mixes co-wrote it together with Shaznay Lewis, a member of the group All Saints. and although Missy Elliott sang on the song, she never met with LM for the collaboration. She co-wrote and sang her part in the United States. unfortunately we never had the chance to see them singing together, it would have been great....😢❤

Fun fact Jesy literally worshipped Missy Elliot since day 1. She is literally her idol. Needless to say she manifested this collab the hardest. Even the girls said in multiple interviews just how much Jesy looks upto Missy Elliot and she apparently used to always wish they would collab with her
