I don't have dwarfism, but I AM a mom of three girls. I can only imagine the challenges that come along with your condition AND having an average size child. I would think that the experiences are more alike than not, but I'm sure it has a unique perspective. Would you mind if I asked you a question? And I apologize, this may be a long comment and I realize I'm responding to something that is two years old....How should I respond to my kids loudly asking questions about people who are different? I don't just mean dwarfism, but anything that is different from what my kids are used to. I don't usually handle it differently, whether they person who is different can hear or not. I don't shush my kids, because obviously the little person KNOWS they're little and hopefully they realize that kids ask questions. I don't want my kids to think that NOTICING a little person is shameful...its not shameful to be little nor is it shameful to notice. I try to explain that they developed differently, just like my oldest daughter has thin hair as opposed to her younger sisters thick brown hair. It all comes down to genetics and sometimes there are marker for the the condition of dwarfism....could you please give me some tips? As I said, my answer to my kids doesn't change whether the person with dwarfism can hear or not but should I handle this differently? I want my kids both educated AND compassionate....

Same. I was very sick from stress to the point where I vomited every time I got ready for work and when I ate. It had to be God cuz I wasn't eating well for months. I didn't have time nor could afford to go to the doctor. My daughter came out perfectly healthy with super hearing and, apparently, an amazing placenta to have the entire staff spaz over it. I wasn't sure if I'd be a good mom or if I wanted kids. Especially with the way this world is. We got pregnant by accident but I wouldn't change a thing. I broke my ankle once and was surprised how often I needed help but people were afraid to offer it for fear of being rude. You never know someone’s challenges. They may look able bodied but might be differently able. Or injured “inside” as my friend says. I’ve found asking people “I’m sure you don’t need help, but would you like some help” has been well received so far. Sometimes even if you can do something it’s nice to have help now and again. Also speak out to help others. A little person was shopping at our Trader Joe’s store. She could get things in the cart but not out. She could push it but the handle was above her head. Everyone wants to be treated with respect and an equal. I emailed Trader Joe’s and said that there was a little person who shopped there and it would be nice to have smaller carts for her. In two weeks not only did they have smaller carts at that store but across the nation. I know this because three weeks after I emailed them I moved from the west coast to Boston and driving across country we saw them all along the way. Well played Trader Joe’s.

Every time I see one of your videos, it reminds my of my aunt. You and she could have been sisters and it makes me smile seeing the two of you interact. Thank you two for sharing with us!

I love these 2. I wish more of the family would pitch in. I lost my Mom young & she reminds me so much of my Mom sometimes it brings tears to my eyes missing her so much, but most of the time I'm smiling & laughing. I'm very jealous of there relationship, but it is a nice reminder of what my Mom & I had!! I can't wait for more videos!! XOXOXO 💜 💜 💜

You were raised by one of the most amazing moms it seems. ❤️ You have to be raised with amazing humor and that's the best way to live a life that is harder than the average persons. And being able to spread that to others who may be in similar situations is just golden ✨️ 💛 Thank you for what you do for all who need the laugher to easily access it, huge, tall, average, short, little or even the tiniest woman on earth can enjoy your content and the story around your lives is beautiful.

I love how you speak out about it positively. No hate to people who maybe came out ignorant about how to treat them. You just speak smoothly about it..very positive. Without instead throwing hate to people who also act ignorantly towards small people.

This is living life, I love seeing families having fun, accepting each others beautiful characters and just saying to the world 'bring it on, we got this' I'm an ADHD and autistic mum of 3 and we laugh together, cry together, fight over the TV remote together (yes they win lol). These videos are amazing, thank you for sharing these moments with us 😁

You have 110% of my support. So you’re little and Peet is tall. It doesn’t matter as long as you love each other and know that we all bleed a different color than RED!!
