The power of the Thin Man that slows down time isn't "MANUAL", we haven't seen him turning that power off, just the mere presence of the Thin Man slows down time, so the power of the Lady "Life Sucking", Thin Man can avoid it.

Also don't confuse "SOUL ABSORPTION" to " LIFE ABSORPTION", the Lady DOESN'T absorb SOULS , The Lady absorbs the LIFE FORCE, don't confuse those two terms, Life force and Soul are different things

Because he didn't want to fight The Lady, And actually The Lady's attack on the Thin Man is to want to take the Thin Man's soul, Just as she did to the Guests,After she knew Thin Man was Mono she didn't take his soul, And you know what, to fight The Lady's power when she tries to take someone's soul would be very difficult.I mean she can take someone's soul straight away, easy and fast

I don’t know cause thin man and the lady have canonically fought and we’re both equal in power it was stated I little nightmares 1 the lady fought someone who was equal to her in power and seemed familiar neither of them could bring themself to kill the other
