(Its been a while)_* It *kind of* sounds like Under Tale's premise come to think of it. An alternative history where humans actually acknowledged coexistence with certain elements they couldn't always fully understand. It makes me think that we could still be living as one as well IRL, Certain elements we don't understand, and the further future maybe.
